Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be a disruptive force in some sectors and it has the potential to transform learning and teaching in ways previously unimagined. Societal change and technological innovation are reshaping our perceptions and approach to education. Through active embrace of all things AI the future of student success to include innovation and a human-centred approach is reimagined.
This presentation shares insights and examples with a focus on personalising the student experience, capacity building, and assessment imperatives. Julie shares ideas, meanderings and provocations based on research, exploration and simply talking to others around the world.
The session aimed to provoke thought and stimulate conversations among participants about the complex role of AI in education, fostering a deeper understanding and critical reflection.
The need for educators to continuously update their knowledge of AI advancements and adapt their teaching practices was emphasised as critical for staying relevant in the evolving educational landscape.
